How Do I "Pause" My Account?

Sometimes you may need to temporarily turn off your SaneBox processing.

To Pause your account (and all communications between SaneBox systems and your host’s email server), go to the main overview section of your SaneBox Dashboard.

Here’s are some example situations:

  • Let’s say that all of a sudden it appears that some emails are being marked as unread,

  • Or certain emails you still need front and center are getting moved to Archive or Trash.

If you are noticing odd or unexpected things like that going on, we would recommend you pause your SaneBox account to eliminate it as the culprit.

We’re understanding about how your 1st thought (when it comes to an email mystery) might be that it must be SaneBox behind what’s happening. Since we’re all about you being in control and avoiding distractions, our scientists built the pause tool so that pausing your SaneBox can quickly show if the behavior is from SaneBox or if it is not.

Common instances where “Pausing” would be warranted would be:

  1. Your Emails are being moved to your deleted items or trash folder in mass.

  2. Your Email software / app seems to be acting up.

  3. Your Emails are being Archived.

  4. You can’t find certain specific Emails.

  5. Your Email account seems to be using too much Data/Bandwidth.

  6. You recently upgraded your device’s OS and are now experiencing odd behavior within your email software app.

Does pausing my account also pause my subscription?

No. You will need to turn off Auto Renew in order to prevent your SaneBox subscription from renewing.
