What happens if you lose your 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) device access or emergency recovery code?

If you have lost your device access or SaneBox 2FA emergency recovery code (printed during SaneBox 2FA activation), you will need to follow certain required recovery steps.

How do I get back into my account?

The solution starts with simply writing-in to us by email to support@sanebox.com with the following details included:

  1. Your Name (as entered during SaneBox signup.)
  2. Also quote the email account addresses on your SaneBox account.
  3. Attach a scanned image of your Government Identification.

Once we have followed our validation process and have verified your identity, our support team will notify you when we are able to remove the 2FA from your account for you. Then you can once again login to your SaneBox account!
