How do I Rename My Sane Folders?

Simply rename your Sane folders as you would any other folders in your email application. SaneBox will do the rest.

Gmail Webmail:

1. Go to your Settings page and make sure you are in the Labels tab.
2. Click on the Sane label you wish to rename.
3. Type in a new name and press Enter.

Yahoo Webmail:

1. Right click on a folder and select Rename.
2. Type in a new name and press Enter.

Outlook (Web):

1. Right click on a folder and select Rename.
2. Type in a new name and press Enter.

AOL:

• This feature is not available for AOL email users. Please do not rename your Sane folders.

Apple Mail:

1. Right click on the folder and select Rename Mailbox.
2. Type in a new name and press Enter.

Outlook (software):

1. Right click on a folder and select Rename.
2. Type in a new name and press Enter.

Thunderbird:

1. Right click on a folder and select Rename.
2. Type in a new name and press Enter.

Other Mail Apps:

• If you need help renaming folders in another mail application, please create a Support request

Note:

• In rare cases, if we are unable to detect the renaming, we’ll email you. Simply login and point us to the right folder.

How do I restore my sane folders to their original names?

• Select the Pencil icon next to the folder you want to restore.

• Select the “Restore to” option and select Save.
