I received a message that says “OpenID authentication failed.”

This is the message you see when you have a G Suite (Google Apps) hosted domain that is not set up to support use of Google’s OAuth credentials system for logins.

If you are taken to a page that says “Currently this single sign-in feature is disabled for the domain your domain.tld,” you should see a link that says one of three things:

  • “Go back to SaneBox,”
  • “Continue to SaneBox,”
  • or “Back to website”.

When you get back to SaneBox, there will be a message that says “OpenID authentication failed.” near the top of the page.

If you see this message, send us an email at support@sanebox.com and we’ll help you get your account setup with Password access instead.
