Yahoo Specific: Creating a Disposable Email Address and Enabling Auto-Forward

Yahoo does allow you to setup a disposable email address and auto forward to another email address. A disposable email address is an alias for your email address that you can use if you don’t want to reveal your own Yahoo or business email address.

Create your Disposable email address:

1. Sign in to the email account for which you want to create a disposable address.
2. Click on the Settings menu icon, select More Settings
3. Click on Mailboxes
4. Click on Add
5. Add a keyword to create a unique disposable address.
6. Make the appropriate changes to your Sending Name and Description.
7. Click on Save.

Setup Auto-Forwarding:

1. Sign in to the email account for which you want to setup auto-forwarding for.
2. Click on the Settings menu icon, select More Settings
3. Click on Mailboxes
4. Click the primary mailbox account.
5. Under Forwarding, enter the Forwarding Address.
6. Click Verify.
7. Log in to your forwarding address and follow the instructions sent there.
